Journey With an Evening Cloud

Updated on March 5, 2012
Source

It was my grandma's chariots that came alive,

The prince was taking his princess to his

Abode!

The evening clouds taking the shape of my

Favorite childhood creatures of the fairy land.

Never looked at the clouds

this way ever,

The air host just served a good cup of coffee

My fellow passenger left me the window seat to look at the chariots

that was going eastward.

The soft mellow light of the setting sun

has made the cloud to look

fairly like a real fairy-land.

Time stopped a few moments

ago.

I was simply wandering on my Pegasus

to dip into the forgotten fairy-land.

...then an announcement from the cockpit

Made me wake up!

My journey with the evening clouds come

to an end.

I love this hub on clouds, I found info about the online clouds, and ran with it 2 years back in terms of web development, so I can relate to this poem in every way thus my screen name, Nicely done. Voted Up!

Phdast7! Thanks for the share and for your comments. I spent a lot of time in airplanes when I was still working and spent quite a bit of time staring out the window and at the clouds while deep in my thoughts. I thought of thos emoments when I came up with this poem.

RebekahELLE, rebeccamealey thanks for your comments. I ran across the first pic on this hub while looking for pictures for my other hubs and I thought I need to write something using this picture. As I mentioned to Phdast7, I spent a lot of times on planes so inspiration was mor eor less easy to come by.
