Need- December 31, 2008

Life is a game.

Something you can't find.

It's not the same,

When you run out of time.

Love is special.

You won't understand.

It's something you need-

Right off hand.

Family is something you share.

Sometime you don't get along,

But they will always care.

Friends say they love you-

For who you really are.

But the next thing you know,

They leave a scar.

Some people just need to grow up.

If they only knew.

That people do care-

And really love you.

You are yourself

And that can never change.

Unless people ask,

Why are you acting so strange?

Emo- Feburary 30, 2009

You just need to learn not to hide.

No wonder people hate you.

I wonder why?

All they see is that you were on a date,

And that you turned emo

Because you got raped.

And when you looked in a mirror,

The mirror breaks.

Because all you see,

Is that one mistake.

Sneaking out and getting high.

Lying to your parents,

And they wonder why.

Like that mirror,

You're falling apart.

So you say good bye,

And stab yourself in the heart.

Walking In The Dark- May 4, 2009

I don't remember

Walking in the dark.

I found out now,

That I have to listen to people's remarks.

I'm tired of being pushed around.

When I choose to be different,

I choose to be me.

I am different.

You will soon see.

When I'm different at my school,

I am free.

I do remember walking in the dark,

When I had to listen to those remarks.

I'm still being pushed around.

I think I was once,

In the lost and found.

I love the poetry you've written. The poems have lovely words. Yes, there certainly are judgemental people everywhere.
