Just East Of Polaris.

Updated on February 6, 2010

Just East Of Polaris.

Do not regret

his final passage
in this closing

poem of his life.

He has passed

into the murky blackness
of God's massive inkwell,
where the essence

of poets are placed,
when the spark of

inspiration fades
in that last exhale of awe.

Soon God will

re-create him,
into a heavenly poem
scrawled across

the books of life,
and he will be read

back into existence
much to the awe of

millions of listeners
in the star lit

cafe of paradise,.

All of those who

have passed on,
will welcome his reading,
and he will become
one of the many
spirits of poetry,
whose souls soar higher
then any earthbound
inspiration would allow,.

Just think of

the many subjects
he can cover who

have gone on before him,
Tea with Elizabeth Browning,
a sundae with Robert Frost,
a five mile walk with Longfellow.

The possibilites

are endless
and he is happy there,
He poked a hole in

 the blackness of space
and left his mark
just east of Polaris,
and his starlite will remain as
a beacon to all others

who wish to shine
just as brightly as

he will forevermore.
