Just How Messy Was Son’s Room (limerick)

Updated on February 12, 2015

The mess in son’s room was profound

The junk it contained would astound

So I told him Mister

You clean up this twister

And that’s how lost sister was found

That's too funny! Unfortunately, all my son will find if and when he ever cleans his room is his bed and the floor!

This sounds like my daughter's room, but I'm guessing we'd find our dog!

      Too funny! Love it!!

It reminds me of the three boys still living at home with us.

I had real concerns that we would all be asphyxiated from the fumes of

      sock odor!! Ha, Ha

      Great Job, Martin!!

Delightful! Back in the days when I was rearing children--particularly teens-- almost anything could get lost in their rooms!

I remember those days when my son was so young, and it did look like a twister had been through. We never lost his sister though! lol We did lose a lot of other items.

Tell your son to keep cleaning

      That is the master plan.

      With hard work and luck

He may find Gramps and Gran.
