Just One More (poem)

Updated on August 19, 2015

Just one more thing before I have to go

Just one more need that only I can fill

Just one more reason that a heart beats still

Just one more thing I thought you ought to know

Remember when the days weren’t always bright

Just one more reason for another kiss

We often wonder how we’d weather this

Just one more season put to bed each night

And to those dawns that promised flowers’ scent

Remember how our tears would be their rain

Just one more thing for others to explain

For here there is no reason to repent

And every heartbeat life will put us through

Just one more thing remember I love you

Always wonderful when those three little words are spoken. Love the video ...I haven't heard that song in so long.

A tender poem. Perfect video accompaniment.
