Kick flipping moves

Updated on April 13, 2013

These cool dudes learned to stretch themselves out like a cat

one of them uniquely different from all the others in fact
Thinking upon a great victory he seeks
His stature remained firm but structured very weak
Worn body lay in ruin for years resting idled
Joints never used for its true purpose like an unopened bible
As a stunt kid growing up a hospital pillow was his pal
In and out of the emergency room nurse became his gal

Parents all caught up in a mental bind
For they knew their son would become a super hero in due time
Someday soon on a Sunday a package had arrived
While he was lying there on the pavement of spies
Enslaved to the calling of his acrobatic genes
He was like a wild stallion running amuck out of order it seems
Performing movements unknown to other villagers eyes
A true violation of what was currently considered actions

for any above average guy

What once was the norm was shattered somehow
Armed with a superior athletic physique yet something was missing
He needed to prepare for war
A battle of epic proportions began hissing
A staging ground for his non-violent truest nature of inaction
To defeat all enemies with his display alone was a goal and enduring passion
Scoring zero for special intelligence

Unarmed combat was his weapon of choice to win all title bouts of irrelevance
Pure creativity of evasive action by bodily motions
That day had finally arrived to put practice to locomotion
He was ready after years of suffering broken limbs
His structure now rebuilt like stones yet remained trim

Foundation like a huge great oak
His eyes learned to adjust to the contours of any angles cloak
For this boy was becoming a man
A living legend in the making for he survived again and again
Dueling battle after battle
To become what he's known as today
Free to kick flip into action each day

Thank you so much @Nellieanna, yes indeed I love having as much fun with words as I can, and sometimes this sort of deviation from the norm may actually inspire others to enjoy doing more of the same. I could only hope such a thing could come to pass. Love you too! :)

      My pleasure!

Mike, I applaud discovering and using one's own poetic voice and style! It should be fun to write! And it's a guarantee it won't be trite, which is the worst thing poetry, especially, can turn out to be, IMHO! Hugs.

@ImKarn23, yes indeed I loved that tiger image too, he looks so free and happy stretch himself out there.

Yup what a lovely image and cool videos to help me express this poetic message of sorts. I shall keep on doing this and transmutate my new poetic style into many differing forms as I go along, thanks for sharing.

@Gypsy Rose Lee, Hey there Rasma, yup this was one of the many of my new poetic fun style to help inspire folks out there, and using video powers for inspirations as well. I guess I'm evolving with the content as I go along, who knows right! :)

Thanks for sharing as you do often.

@Nellieanna, Watching them cool videos up there stirred up this idea and concept of a new style poem a while back. So now I'm trying to embark on a very unique way to merge videos like this with my poetry inspirations and it feels good to do so.

Wish me luck, its becoming super fun to play with words like this for sure. Oh and thanks for dropping by to enjoy the fun in play.
