Kicking Back

Updated on July 2, 2015

Finding Time To Unwind

Taking in all the sights and sounds

Having a tall glass of water

Ready at any moment to drink

Cricket sounds constantly echoing in the darkness

The cold water chilling the inside of my mouth

My cat Charlette sniffing something under the table

What do you smell ?

My wife got up for a late night snack

I had the same idea

I washed the grapes and had them soak in water

Put them in the freezer for a quick chill

A sudden zap

The eerie glow from the bug zapper

Frying up it's next victim

My toes tickled lightly by a slow moving breeze

How nice it is

Catching up on some taped shows on the D.V.R.

Earlier today sleeping late and taking a drive together

Off to do a light food shopping and a few stops for errands

Returning home

The dirty dishes and the dirty laundry are both calling my name

Before long both are done

I'm back to reading and writing once again

You've engaged all our senses and carried us back and forth. Now we can relate to your need to kick back. Good job!
