Kisses Calling (poem)

Updated on May 26, 2015

Her kisses keep calling return

Each day as new light blesses sky

Each thought which my heart happens by

I feel her lush serenade churn

-

Whenever I am far away

Her kisses keep calling return

No distance will this dream discern

No course which this wish cannot sway

-

When world makes demands of my time

And others ways need my concern

Her kisses keep calling return

In whispers for moments to climb

-

Though I love no other but her

Her kisses would just have to wait

For life put demand on my fate

So to future kisses defer

-

In silence a lesson I spurn

When memories take me aside

Through days before my lover died

Her kisses keep calling return

Charming, the love of life. Interesting too. I voted it up++, shared it and pinned it.

So sad that he let life get in the way. At least he has the memories of her kisses to get him through.

We each acknowledge and remember sweetly the tender love we have shared with another. The kisses are a reminder.

      Beautifully stated.
