Kisses’ Refrain (poem)

Updated on August 23, 2015

Somewhere beyond our forest flushed with pain

And toil to soil away our gentle mood

Beyond the calls of callas and the crude

The memory of kisses still remain

The path that brought us to this interlude

It’s plain its pain was washed away by rain

Whose course caused for one more reason to complain

While kisses summoned aid to end the feud

Our dreams seem so much different from here

We never dreamed the trees would be so tall

Or simply dreaming could entail such fuss

Somewhere beyond this forest reasons clear

If there is any clarity at all

We’ll leave it to the kisses to discuss

Music only

Another beautiful poem. More than aptly put, "leave it to the kisses to discuss".
