Ladies man

Ladies Man

In Your black silk shirt, and Rolex watch

Designed and styled to beguile

You strut your stuff, moving on your turf

Always aiming to please

Flicked the fluff from your sleeve

Moving with ease

Sparkle and shine, you're primed like fine wine

Dressed to impress, cause you know you're the best

You're the ladies man, doing what you can

No woman can resist your charm

Jimmy Choo, silver shoes

You don't wait in line, just a flash of the platinum

Your work here is done

To Cartier for baubles, to light up her eyes

See the envy men can't disguise

Spied your face in the mirror, just a tweak of the hair

Narcissus have nothing on you

Reached for the exit, and into your Lexus

To Gucci for wallet and watch, then off to Yosushi

Where you sip your saketini,

You flirted with the ladies and laughed

They try to possess you, but you're a lover a player

You don't do forever, its now or never

In and out of ladies' chamber

One more notch to remember

Flash Flash, Bling Bling, don't need commitments

Just seeking fulfillment

Yes, you're the ladies man, doing what you can

Just keeping romance alive.

I enjoyed this ... it reminded me of how little I like people who are only interested in appearances! Voted up!

The character, in this instance, is too much in love with himself to think about what ladies want, just as well, men like that are in the minority. thanks for the visit

I love how the character in this poem has strong opinions on what ladies want, this seems to be a problem with us guys. We need to step back and take another look sometimes. Love it, voted up.

Hi Winsome, many thanks for the visit, I've enjoyed reading your work, and no, I don't think all men are like that, but there are a few. With Ladies man I just wanted to have some fun as with The little Tramp, A good man may be hard to find but I found my diamond 25years ago and he is still shining.

Top of the morning to you mikeq107,always loved the Irish. thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I liked what you did with Ladies man.... is Don Jaun's first date another hub? or are you just playing with me. I almost went down the exact same road with the $10 Rolex and dodging the repo. man, but in the end I thought no, just make him a shallow rich puppy. I had fun with it and I'm glad you did too.

Then home you go to where credit card bills wait...your child supports due and always late , your rolex bought for $10 on 5th and bent st in New york... your jimmy coo shoes back in the closet of your boss`s estate...and up early to serve him breakfast because he is never late for his part in the movie "DON JAUN`s first date"

Great poem had fun with it ...what can I say its the Irish humor:0)

Hi Jo, enjoyed this--we're not all like that. A real "Ladies' Man" is man enough to be more interested in the lady than himself. =:)
