Lay In Pain

Updated on July 12, 2012

Unbearable unparalleled the outcry the moan

Elevates unethically from centers unknown

Unjust the emotion unexpected its forms

Bringing to surface the hidden… worms

Unkind in its make like a grey stone

Not moved by sentiment, dexterous but lone

Callous the attitude un-wavered in extent

Pins pricks hard! Evil its intent

Merciless by heart, cold by blood

Rises and shines, like lotus in mud

Clemency he seeks from its clutches so tight

Evil in forms abstract, mighty its might

Bewildered he falls, gravely amazed

No potion no balm can have it erased

Astounding amounts make death look plain

Pleading relief in demise he lay in Pain

Once again you have proved that you are a good poet. You have indeed done a justice in describing the merciless pain. It is really a good work. Sharing it.

      Hope you are fine now!

This poem is beautifully dark in every way, and it definitely points our at the core of pain and self loathing, morbidness, and the likes, but its a very intriguing style of poetic expression Rahul. Outstanding job!

Voted up and getting shared my brother.

great poem! in 2010 I wen through 3 days of this. Once as 7 doctors watched on, unfeeling. I passed out from the pain (no pain medication,at a hospital, takes a half hour to work).

You say it like a man who knows. When the only thing you pray for is relief, but no matter what you do you cannot escape it's clutches. It is unbearable to suffer and unbearable to witness. It is profound and you've done it more than justice, Rahul. I sincerely hope you are feeling better.
