Let Me Float On The Morning Breeze

Updated on July 1, 2014

There Is Nothing Like It

My body sits still leaning back on a fluffy cushion

Resting against the hard wooden rungs of my kitchen chair

The cool vapors give me the oddest sensations

Pampered by the very air that gives me life

Silently tickled first over my breast down across my body to my toes

I patiently wait for the next wave of air to take me away

Filled with delight as another current of the invisible

Brushes against all my nose hairs

My body subdued for the time being

I lose consciousness and focus

As my mind becomes out smarted and overpowered

By the unknown

Each limb of my body becomes lifeless

Even my heart slows down it's beats

My eyes now shut can't resist as my eye lids flutter

The pores of my skin open

Waiting and begging to be satisfied

All my senses become more sensitive and keen

Now my bones and flesh are at ease

Wanting nothing else but to be pleased

My lips once dry are now moist

Even my head once straight is now cocked to one side

As my finger tips gently pull away

Searching for something

Needing to be touched just once more

Voted up and beautiful. You put me in such a peaceful and dream-like state that all I can say is float me away...
