Let Nature Teach Us What We Already Know

Updated on February 18, 2011

There Are No Secrets

If we take a step back and see what nature is and always has been our closest friend

All the sweet blessings of nature here for us to enjoy and share

From the huge trees that grow high into the sky

Showing the world here I am opening up to you and the universe

Reaching out for help and accepting what life has to offer and making the best of  every day

Being free to blow in the wind like a single blade of grass but when you look at the bigger picture you are one of many that whisper in the wind

Seeing the enormous power of the suns heat and as a constant reminder that it is here for all of life to enjoy all my pleasures but also be careful to respect my properties

To see the rain refresh and nurture like a mother would a new born child

Feeling the dark earth under your feet that comorts your every step that can bring new life and with it new visions of what is to come

Even the insects that annoy and bug us have their purpose to keep a balance of repecting what is good and what is bad throughout the world

Rocks that show endless strength to weather out all the seasons through the years

From the animals that live or die so other animals may perish or survive so that we all must learn where we will fit to benefit or contribute to the never ending cycle

The harsh winters that freeze and cover as a reminder to use all of our resources to the best of our abilty to accept change in all forms

The amazing flowers that are breathtaking that add freshness to reaffirm us that beauty is all around us

Each day a new lesson can be learned from what many would say It is just another day

Plain and simple nothing different than the day before

Open your eyes and tell me what you see ?

A blind man could find treasures in the things that you so quickly dismiss

As something boring and dull

To him it is the most wonderful of them all

When nature calls

We forget so soon that we are surrounded by nature.I think when we are surrounded by buildings and paved roads we no longer see the beauty of nature.I always want to keep nature in the fore front of my mind so it can guide me into a wonderful life.Thank you so much.

How very true. This reminds me of "Stop and Smell the Roses." Thank you for your thoughts and for sharing them. I loved your prose.

      Voted up and awesome.
