Shall we be Janus?

Updated on April 24, 2015

Taking me out

for a romantic tryst,

promised you

all the incredible things

in the world;

the musing Moon

and

the satin Stars,

the witnesses be!

Apathetic have I become?

Wither is the zeal, my love?

Zap you my feelings?

Willy-nilly,

please be not wily!

My wiggling emotions

hold on to scaffolding hopes,

Let me rest awhile!

Ravaging our happiness

sound you so raucous!

Parboil your temper,

Get not parched

for want of moist!

Juggins shall we be

awhile

juggling our joyous past?

Janus-faced,

let us be

reminiscing our joyful pranks

and ogle on future glory!

Desperate is this cyclop

for yet another eye

to watch for the marvels

of this world!
