Poem | Let's Start Today A New Fresh Life

Updated on April 30, 2011

The shining blush of the virgin sky

The young shy golden rays

Of the rising sun

May bless our today’s life

Fill our heart with happiness

And let it have all the fun!

Forget the entire cruel things

Published in the morning news

Forget the past distress

Caused by so called friends

And let’s begin the new life

Commencing today, afresh!

Short and sweet poem with clear and simple message. Yes the sun can warm our hearts and souls and help remove the coldness of the more often than we care for - miserable daily news.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful hub!

Thanks epigramman for your lovely and encouraging comment! I really believe that the writers, poets and others who have access to the mass media, have a greater responsibility towards the society.

Such wise words - reading the newspapers and listening to the news can be so depressing!

Thank you for a great piece.

Each day should bring a fresh start,

      a cleansed heart,

      the sunrise painted like art,

on the horizon of our morn.

      do not carry the past,

      it is far too vast,

      its die has been cast,

a new dawn has been born,

      live morning, noon and night,

as a present from the night,

      tomorrow's worries out of sight,

just take today and make it right.

      Lovely hub/poem~~~MFB III

It's a good idea to stop worrying about that which we can do nothing about. Of course, if there is something we CAN help, we ought to do so.
