Life Chronicles - 2nd September 2017

A very special person in my life recently told me that, "Whatever you want to do or be, you have to do or be it all by your self. Some people will inspire you, help you, motivate you but in terms of growth, achievement and actualisation, it has to come from within".
Though I couldn't agree more with her, it was disheartening to have a possibility of togetherness shattered. The wolf pack seldom exists these days, and if it does, it is a meagre and treacherous one. Seems like this is the age of birds and reptiles, where each human individual crumbles if he/she puts faith or trust in anyone else but their own selves.
Somehow I feel saddened by this state of affairs in society, particularly with my generation. Now I'm not saying there aren't best friends or couples who are actually something like of a Goku-Vegeta fusion, but in my experience, everyone I've truly loved has left me to be on my own. Make no mistake, there is no right or wrong in this predicament, we all do what we do, because we don’t know any better, and are all simply trying to be the best we can be.
Still waiting for the one who tells me "Whatever it is, we can do it, together". Glad to have experienced and learnt so much so young. Definitely toughens one up. But the heart beating within still wants what it wants. The love that shines like a thousand suns. The love that makes an individual treats every man, woman, child, animal and plant in the world with utmost respect and kindness. The love that makes one fearless. The love that strengthens, nurtures and enlightens. For we seldom remember, that love is our only mission.
It’s a bright sunny day on the Indian East Coast. Feeling Sol’s warmth on my face is refreshing and the prospect of Luna’s cool touch later tonight is reassuring. And it is enough.
