Life Continued - A Poem

Updated on February 6, 2015

Dedication

I wrote this poem for a very dear friend of mine who was marrying for the second time. Both she and her new husband are widowed. I was inspired by the love they share and the mystical ways in which God touches our lives.

This poem is written for and dedicated to Mary and Tom.

Life Continued

We spend a lifetime

Feeling joy.

Creating memories.

Experiencing sadness.

With God, life has no span.

He once again brings Joy

To the open Heart.

God loves you both

And had helped you

Find each other,

For you each have

Something the other

Needs.

God celebrates you on this day

And

So do all who know you.

Join in Celebration of

Life

Continued.

Beckie, actually I printed it and presented it to them inside the wedding card. They loved it and are proud I've posted their poem on HP.

As always, thanx for the lightning bugs. My yard is the only one in Florida blessed with those wonderful creatures! :-)

You're sweet, Eddy. You make me feel bad; I don't spend as much time visiting your older posts as you do mine. I've got to get back to work now, so I'll leave for a bit. How are your gardens looking this time of year? What happens in October-November in your neck of the woods?

Well it's always a joy and a celebration of life when I get to spent some valuable time with you my sensational Shauna and I just made love to the entire world just now as I ate a slice of cheesecake with passion fruit glaze and greek yogurt, believe me it is to die for, lol.

After a nice cuppa tea my third jump into the lake today as it is one of our hottest summer days yet.

Yes life is full of mysteries and miracles isn't it - and often it's people who make our life memorable and rewarding and I always like spending my time with you.

Sending you warm wishes as my felines of fur are out back lounging in the sun or shade and summer is half over now so let's make the most of it ..... lake erie time 4:00pm

Yum. Passion fruit glaze sounds awesome! I make cheesecake from scratch and make either strawberry or blueberry topping, also from scratch. I've recently been substituting plain Greek yogurt for many ingredients such as sour cream and buttermilk. What part does the Greek yogurt play in your cheesecake recipe?
