Life In The Hereafter

Updated on March 4, 2011

Close Your Eyes What Do You See ?

Do you feel great comfort and safe

Are you wondering what is this place ?

Where we visit every night

We only get a glipse of what might be ?

In the land of plenty

A land that we can travel freely at any whim

Everyone is welcome and please do come on in

Leave your worries at the door

You can stay for awhile or you can leave when you have had enough

This is a place where all your dreams come from

They are waiting to be picked like roses from a rose garden

All plump and ready to share their beauty indefinitely

Each person has our own wants and wishes that will make us truely happy

Think of a time when you got all excited just being yourself without anyone else around to judge you in any way

This is heaven

You can talk endlessly about any subject that tickles your fancy

You can play nonstop in a variety of ways

Every thought you think is carefully displayed as if it was a play

You are an actor or actress and this is your masterpiece

You have taken tremendous care and have been wanting to do this for some time

Don't be afraid it is more like playing charades

It takes time for you to realize what has taken place here

Your mind is in a fog and you have to rationalize this by saying is this a dream ?

All your life you talked about wanting more and more

At times you were disatisfied with what you had

Then you feel like you lost everything

In one big swoop

Like a bird flying down from the sky

Going fifty miles an hour

Who could possibly understand ?

A blurr and quick in an instant

Your life has changed forever

Those dreams that you wanted are yours

The are instantly activated just like that

Now the thoughts that you have repeated and replentished over the years

Can be seen vividly as if you are on a movie set

This is your life

Living life on earth was just a practice run

Didn't anyone tell you ?

I thought everyone knew

Practice makes perfect

People say it all the time

From the day you were born till this day

You had all the time in the world to invision the life you wanted to live

I can't believe you couldn't see the big picture

I don't know anyone who doesn't have a t.v. today

There are so many movies playing all day and night

I have seen you watching them often

You were meant to enjoy life but you have to take what you love the most with you

Like a camping trip you had to pick the bare essentials to the nuts and bolts

The rest would of been so easy

You want a second chance to pack your bags and come back

I would love to give you the opportunity

But life doesn't work that way

You are and always will be master of your own destiny

When you were getting older amd your mother and father hinted

It is time to do things for yourself

Now you get it

Your parents had the plan book open every day

The number one rule is you cannot tell others what you see

That could change their destiny

You are not trying to guide people one way or another

Your parents were just spectators in the greatest sport

The Wide World Of LIfe

That begins with you and ends with you

There is no if ,ands or buts

Just a few lines to make you think

Life is yours and wouldn't it be funny if it was all in pink

Eiddwen I really believe Heaven is on earth. Not in some far away place. If we can just learn to see when our eyes our closed why can't we learn to see when our eyes are open.To live a happy life and to give and give and give.Just one more thought I like to share. Thanks for reading.Nellieanna I understand your words and I believe in that way of thinking all the time. When you try to do something in your life and it doesn't work out it becomes something I can't do yet.I am still searching for answers and am trying my darndest to make it happen. But the fact still remains it is something that hasn't become reality yet.It is a problem I am working on solving.I am tryig new approaches and new techniques all the time.I give it my all and see results. They don't lie. They look right back at me and say not yet.So I push on and will keep pushing on till I succeed.Years have passed and still some things haven't happened.I am persistant and will press on.I don't stop and look at my mistakes as failures but as stepping stones. But the river is fierce and ocassionally I fall in and hold onto those rocks for dear life. Then I once again climb up and continue on.I do damage control and then move on.I will make it to the top.I have always looked for help along the way and continue to do all I can on my own.I am always an optimistic and see great things to come.I love your comments and suggestions and guidance. Thanks to all who have made my writings fun and more interesting than I ever could make them.

Well - I am 100% in favor of your being all you CAN be -- and kicking out the can't bes. Possibly just letting go of 'em is all it really takes for the majority. If you just stop and think , "Who sez I can't?" -- most of the time the only one who's been saying it is - YOU. So just don't say it any more and start doing whatever it was in the "can't" category. You'll be a little unsettled at first, when you find how easily you "Can"! Every time I say something clear and positive without any qualifiers like "maybe, perhaps, if, when" etc. and no bad repercussions happen, - I have to stop and think - - oh! Did I just say what I thought said - and it's OK? But it always is. In fact - it seems to run more smoothly than when I tried to back it in with the qualifiers. LOL

Anyway - that's just one feeble example - but you get the idea.
