Life in Flower

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

Within those gentle folds,

the gateway to that sacred inner sanctum,

where life becomes,

and where love finds form,

there is exquisite pleasure.

Like a treasure sought,

an elusive conquest

begging to be mastered,

men blindly plough virgin fields,

in hope of triumph.

Some, self-gratifying,

ravage with careless thought,

while few peal away the delicate petals,

the flower open and vulnerable,

at the mercy of ecstasy.

The miracle within

for many eludes,

the beauty of life giving,

merely a fleeting delight.

But for those with sight,

the sanctum offers far more,

in bloom, of heart, a connection to a soul,

a physical manifestation

of the power of life,

a nurtured womb of possibility.

Within the gentle folds of life,

a woman is a Goddess,

a connection to the core of life.

And in the radiance of her seduction,

a gift of blissful wonder,

of abandon and surrender,

to a man open to hold life,

in the palm of his hands.

Your selection of words are lovely. Always consistent in your expressions of your use of words. There's an old Native American proverb indicating there's strength in gentleness. That's what your language evokes.
