Time well spent.

Updated on November 27, 2013

“Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.” -Marthe Troly-Curtin, Phrynette Married

If there's one thing that life lacks that'll be time. We never have enough time in our lives, its always lacking and it becomes easily wasted in different ways. These lives are precious and we want to live it well. How can we spend our time/our life to the fullest? What is it that we must do and what do we need to do?

According to the CIA World Factbook(Can be found at : the people of the world has an estimated life expectancy of 67.59 years. That's about 592481.29 hours we live our life. We spend about 12 or more years trying to finish school, then there's college after that. In the end of high school we'll be at 16-20 years old. Then we'll get a job in which we'll be going in and out of until retirement which will be at the ranging 55-70 years. Most people in the world don't survive until 68. Imagine that we only have 68 years to enjoy our lives in which more than half will be spent on studying and working.

You can't tell a man what to do with their lives, hell, you can't even tell a man to do anything, because we do what pleases us, and if earning money pleases or being a workaholic makes us happy then so be it. Most of us won't get our dream job, most of us won't get the perfect person, most of us will think that their life was not worth living, but let me tell you that we won't die unsatisfied with our lives, we will always die happy, even those who we may die in the most devastating ways.

The average person would have spends 9 years watching television. The average person spends 6 years and 10 months eating. The average spends 1/3 of their life sleeping. These are the things that we normally do in our free time and it adds up greatly to most of our life. Is this how most of us want to live? Is there something more?

Here we are studying statistics and trying our best to understand them so that we may live our life to the fullest. Throw away the statistics, the numbers, everything, all the bullshit, and let's understand ourselves and ask the different things that lies in our wonder-brain. What is it that we truly want in life? To be rich? To earn billions of dollars each year? Who do we want to spend our whole 68 years with? Friends? The person we love? Family? What's our dream/goal in life, what is our dream job? These questions and many more, let's ask ourselves. Living life is not as simple as we think, we can't enjoy life if we don't want to. We'll be sitting in office chairs, working our ass off so that we may achieve our so-called "dreams". This is happening because we want it to happen, we always ask ourselves: "Why is this happening to me?" but we don't ask ourselves: "What should I do to make this better?" Complaining won't do anything, thinking will lead to action, and action will be the one to get you out of these situations.

We are humans, very very smart creatures, and what do we do with this smartness? Slack-off. That's what we always do, we lose our determination on the way, we lose our dreams, we lose our time, and then after that, our lives. If you want to live your life to the fullest, regain these things once again, it will be hard along the way, but everything will be at stake.On the way, order you should order some love with extra hugs, this way you will be more comfortable with the people around you.

Don't blame anything else on the way, except yourself. Only you, can make you happy, only you can live your life and spent your life to its fullest. Remember where you are right now and change that, if you don't want to, then might as well kill yourself. If your life is good enough as you want it to be, then it's alright to stay, but remember you can always make it better. Find an inspiration, it may be in form of an object, a person, anything or anyone. This will help you go on and put yourself out of the undesirable position in life.

Problems will always be in the way, you can't always let everything go your way,you can't always have your dream job, dream spouse, dream life, but don't let that stop you, eventually you'll reach those dreams you have and you will be happy and satisfied.

Remember that all of us will always die happily, even those who die in the most undesirable of ways. In the end we will always be satisfied on what we have done for ourselves and for others. In death we will realize that our Life is spent well.

      Yes, this life is fleeting, and we must choose to be happy and do what makes us happy in this life, whatever our passion is, then we should do it or figure out what it is. This is not our true home, as it is temporal and passing away. Each day we must love no matter what, and then that is when love will be returned to us. Giving hugs is good.

      Interesting hub, enjoyed reading it.

      Voted up +++ and sharing

      Hugs and love, Faith Reaper
