Life Without You (poem)

Updated on September 2, 2015

(Acrostic sonnet)

-

Lost lips that shared such secrets with a heart

In moments between kisses start anew

Forever daring to remove the dew

Entailed in life whenever lovers part

-

While arms await the coming of a dawn

In which there is some hope for them to warm

This soul that blossomed with renewing charm

Has left us empty and our purpose gone

-

Our Joy is gone forever I must cope

Until I find a way to get us back

Together and forever in our view

-

You always were the dream behind each hope

Of putting something special back on track

Until my life without you is all through

Music onnly

Wonderful acrostic, Martin. It's hard to tell a story with this type of poetry, but you pulled it off!

Beautiful poem. The song is the perfect accompaniment.
