Life's Meaning: A Purpose?

Updated on August 22, 2017

Never to be a subject more mystifying, life's meaning,

So hard to realize or postulate, without an intervening.

Were we put here for a reason or a rhyme, to propose,

Could there have been a blueprint, may we suppose?

Might we each have been born only by chance,

Should we consider life as a benevolent dance?

Must there to be a defined calculation of reason,

Controlling, overseeing that of each new season?

Were we considered beneficial to others on this earth,

A positive influence in living, a legitimacy in our worth?

Would there be millions of creatures carefully created,

Each's complexity, grand, to fathom, as sophisticated?

The answer may be found by everyone as it is sought,

Although of the length and its girth, battles are fought.

The answer may well be found, in its course, over time,

The possible revelation of life revealed as a paradigm.

You pose a deep and dangerous question. These are often the best kind. I wish you luck on the journey to the answer.

      -much love,
