Christian Poetry About Life

Updated on April 10, 2012

A Poem about Life

Christian Poem About Life

The path of life
Is uneven at times
But through His light
The Lord is waiting
His word testifies

Lessons taught
On mountain tops
In the valleys
Within the darkness
His light I will follow

Along the trail,
Burdens prevail
Into the restlessness
Of night,
I am broken and bruised
The Lord carries me

Into sleepless night
I trudge deeper
in the muck of life
with strong hands
He pulls me out

Night ends
I have travailed
Reaching out,
He hugs me,
Saying," I love you!"
"From these trials
You became stronger."

"You have fought a good fight, you have finished the course, you have kept the faith."

Great encouragement--the Lord will carry us through. Sometimes, it hard to discern Him in the midst of trials but like you say, He's the guiding light. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your help with my question. I used Google translate like you suggest and the foreign comment was a beautiful one. Thank you again.

The trials and errors of life, but also the rewards and the victories as well. Great poem.

I would rather question why we need to become stronger, and why a God needs to provide a rationale for misery. A true God would eradicate all pain and suffering, and make us live in a happy land.

However, your poem was sweet, and your style of verbal rhythm is interesting.
