Light Shines Through

Updated on February 24, 2015

Yet there is time to rejoice for what we have, which did stay behind. The loved ones who continue to retain that faith in helping you heal. They can guide you in reaching a better place for the heart, body, soul and mind. In due time the pressure will diminish on the heart, but it will take a lot from me to fix the broken part.

It can take a split second to fall off track.
One word that will cause the heart to crack.
A moment to lose self-control which can produce results,
Losing the ones you hold so dear –
Knowing they will never come back.

Always appreciate the ones you love.
Never take for granted how much their heart does.
They contribute so much into a relationship over time.
All the sacrifices which comes deep down inside.
Expressing how much they mean to you,
It can only go so far.
Remember that both of you play a big part,
Not just in each other but –
Also the others who were with each of you from the start.

Fiends and,
All the many things which complete a family.
Blended families are hard to make into a whole,
All the pieces do not fit to each one.
That is when we make bridges that connect to the heart.
Understanding the sum of the parts –
Along with the individuals who were able to except you from the start.
Time can heal the wounds that are inflicted on the heart.
Only the heart can last so long until it all falls apart.

Thank you very much for such kind words. Life moves on, and we must keep up with the change.

This is a sad but poignant reminder of how we must be careful in cherishing those we love, even friend, fiend, or foe, but especially family. No one accepts us unconditionally like family, but we must treat them right. the Light of love will always shine through. Voted up and useful, beautifully written, Jeb. Also love the photo.
