I Will Fight It No More

Updated on May 16, 2013

Here am I again, Lord

Curled up at Your feet.

I am bruised.

I am hurting.

My energy is used up

Yet, I feel far from complete.

I need You, Lord

More than ever before.

I pray continually for deliverance from this repeated

Mind-numbing misery.

But, here am I again, Lord.

Help me walk through this.

Daddy, hold my hand.

Give me some strength.

I am trying to believe this is all part of Your plan.

Do You hear my heart crying?

I need Thee every hour, most precious Lord.

I have been beaten.

I am so weary of trying to win this on my own.

Lord, this is Your battle.

I will fight it no more.

      Oh, precious heart, what a beautiful outpouring of your heart to our sweet Lord, who goes give rest to the weary so that they are able to soar with wings like eagles! I pray you are doing well, and this is a poem. Surrendering it all to the Lord is when we are truly set free!

      In His promises, he tells us that when we cry out to Him, He will our us, and relieve us of our distress.

      Voted up ++++ and sharing

      God bless you. In His Love, Faith Reaper

      When we speak to the Lord, he does hear us and he will deliver us from evil. Keep praying and live one day at a time. Billy Graham once told us in a book that he had written to "live each day in airtight packages". This I have tried to do and the Lord has heard my prayers and sent his guardian angels to watch over me and my family. Blessings my friend. Thank you for sharing this work and reminding us that we all need prayer and protection by the Lord.whonu

      'I am so weary of trying to win this on my own. Lord, this is Your battle.'

      Isn't that so true! Every true child of God with a heart to please Him will so cry out. We have no power of our own. So we must let Him take control. For He (God Almighty) Is The Man of War.

      Voted up and beautiful. :)

      A heart-felt cry to the Lord who hears our prayers and is faithful. He is our deliverer. A poem which, when in Him, I am sure we can all relate to. God Bless you dear sister.

      Faith, whonu, ComfortB, Shofar;

      Many thanks for you reading and the kind, encouring, generous words you left. God does hear the cries of our hearts. He alone can win these battles. The Lord bless each of you richly today.

      Beautifully spoken! A humble prayer that so many of us can relate to, having been there at one point in time or another.

      In both the Old and New Testaments, God tells us to STAND. He fights the battles. I say Amen to your Prayer/Poem.
