Like The Seasons - An Original Poem
Like The Seasons
Her look reminds of springtime,
Alive with new arisings.
Her touch that feels like springtime,
A kiss that fills my feelings.
Her movement so much like fall,
Golden leaves across the winds.
Her leaving that feels like fall,
The promise to come again.
Her impact on me like winter,
Chills racing across my arms.
I yearn for her in winter,
The frost upon the farms.
May it one day be summer,
Rays of sun upon her hair.
And I’ll cherish her in summer,
And stay forever there.
