Little human... A dark poem
Be careful what you wish for little human
There are many ears listening in the dark
Hidden things you won’t find amusing
All ready to place their mark
Be careful what you whisper when alone
When desires tempt your mind
And you are far from the safety of home
Strangers are not generally kind
Don’t look too deep into the shadows
You won’t like what you see
In the dark reality quickly shatters
so leave it all be
Don’t look for voices hidden from sight
Their pretty promises are easily spoken
In the deep dark of the night
And so easily broken
Turn away from the forbidden path
It is denied for a reason
Don’t risk the unseen wrath
There are worse things than demons
Turn away little human before it’s too late
This is no place for you
Dark desires lead to dark fates
In life there is no redo
Stay safe in the brightness of day
Where everything is as it seems
Don’t rush to lose your way
In a tangle of dark dreams
Stay safe far from the touch of darkness
Once marked there is no escape
And the gift of never-ending madness
Is always waiting to devastate
Be warned little human of your dark dreams
That may just turn into nightmares
Filled with your own horrific screams
Hell has been known to share
Be warned for the very last time
Stay away from the seductive darkness
Avoid our touch so sublime
Least your soul they strip and ravish
Be careful what you wish little human
We are waiting in the dark
Demons evil and gruesome
Waiting to tear you apart.
