Lonesome Rose
Life is like a beautiful rose, we all may nourish it, so flourish, to excel,
If we do not nurture to so replenish its needs, then our lives will all fail.
So very precious is each and our every day, we never fully understand,
Most to see only a faint dull survival, just a meeting of each's demand.
Every mother's babe, a child so sweet, so mild, wins our hearts in a smile,
Just as each bright flower and expectant herb, to await love all the while.
The brilliant sun so shines its life-giving rays, down upon us, all the days,
Followed by our orb, the moon in nights, a wealth of life, both so displays.
Just what may we to expect, as Father Time moves onward, of every fate,
As continued, we each might be so forlorn, all's attentiveness cannot wait?
Now is a moment in a lifetime's existence, the main focus, in all persistence,
Not to matter the greedy, the controlling, we'll overcome the worst resistance.
Children's futures are all at stake, their wellness, now, or our hearts will break,
Taking every chance to promote new growth, honor all life, new oaths to take.
As a certainty, our heaven's above us, we must provide for trust, ours to make,
As a volcano erupts, earthquakes to quake, is our demand, for everyone's sake.
