Look Out Your Window Tonight

Updated on April 3, 2016

LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW TONIGHT

When you look out your window tonight,

Look at the stars, what a beautiful sight,

To Think each one was put there long ago,

The number of them no one will ever know.

X

God is the only one who knows how many there are he put them all there,

To prove to each of us that he does care,

I love to sit alone, outside, in the park,

And pray the night will be clear, once it is dark.

X

I feel so close to heaven, when at night I look up,

And I'm able to see the stars, that is more than enough,

I Thank God everyday for my eyes which see,

The beauty of his world which he gave to me,

X

If only everyone would stop and look around,

They would be amazed at the beauty found,

In every single thing that God has made,

And every bit of it freely to us he gave.

X

But the best time for me is when I look above,

And the sky is filled with God's wondrous love,

If I can stop and look so can you,

Stop, take time, you'll be so glad you do.

X

Look out your window tonight and you'll see,

Just how beautiful this world can be,

But just in case you look out to find,

There aren't any shining then, just use your mind.

X

To picture millions of stars in the sky outside,

For the beauty of it will open your eyes so wide,

You won't be the same from that moment on,

You'll feel the beauty clear to the bone.
