Lost In You (poem)

Updated on September 20, 2013

Let me just for this while get lost in you

And for a time let’s leave all else aside

Let wonder of this moment be our guide

And draw the curtains of a dream come true

-

Let go the person hidden in your heart

And feel the freedom fields which know no harm

Let trust renewed now lead me through your charm

And be that vision fascinations start

-

What lesser need now dare trouble this bliss

Let music of rapture cast it away

What distant doubt draws shadows’ dismay

And here in our Joy all else to dismiss

-

There’s moments ahead and moments behind

But here lost in you for now I’m resigned

Well said Martin. It is the present which gives meaning to our lives. Whats past is gone and tommorow may not come.

Martin, the arrangement of this poem further enhances its meaning, I think. It truly says more than the words do. What one has is the most precious and meaningful, if only because it IS what one has. All else is flimsy illusion.
