Life, Love and Laughter
Gone away for more than a day,
No doubt missing all once departed.
Days of fulfilment and fun.
Life has emerged again, as quick as the shot of a gun!
Don’t leave please, I beg you,
Don’t leave please.
It’s all over now, just had to go.
Begging and pleading.
Crying outside and in,
Home is reached and life is dim.
Returning is wanted,
But life back to normal is essential,
Hatred is felt, cold brought in,
And life is only two dimensional.
But then in just a moment and a flash
Minds reflecting all images,
Finding out now that I have been missed
And thought about daily.
Returning is no longer a dream,
They’ll be visiting my mended heart it seems.
