A dream upon a dream, I look beyond the stars,
Who has lived there all these years, my mind wanders near and far.
Such beauty hidden away from the world,
It stands alone but has not failed.
Turrets erect, a giant metal gate, and enormous protective walls,
A proper “Princess” castle has become, beauty is revealed.
Centuries old and yet still standing, it is something I must applaud,
But the hearts of each person ever living, or working in there will always be concealed.
Oh how I’d love to live there, or to just be a fly on the walls for a day,
To feel I have lived in a “Princess” castle no matter what way.
I do not long to be a Princess, nor have any such title,
I long for the dream, and hope that one day my dream will be reality.
