Love Plays Many Tunes

Updated on December 24, 2014

Music To My Ears

There are many starts but no finish

Where only the best is remembered and the bad is transformed Into a do over

Giving your all for one more smile

One more laugh that lasts

Long enough to enjoy more new things

Where every day is different than the next

Exciting and new like the morning light

Coming out of the darkness and making the mysterious marvelous

A feeling that we will always cherish

The comfort of another persons presence

Not taking up room but sharing the same space

Combining their thoughts with ours

Creating and endless combination

That we are always changing

Making us see things differently by opening our eyes

To the same old world but this time

With someone by our side

To hold our hand as a guide

Hug us when we are alone

Care for us when we our sick

Fill our dreams

With pleasures that we never out grow

Lovely poem on the subject of love. It's true that it's so much better when we can share the world with a loved one.

      Happy Christmas to you!
