Sublime Translucence

Love: The Fire of my Quest. A Sonnet

I am coming, Sweet Empress, I am coming Home.

You have been waiting for millennia, with an outstretched invitation.

Protected by Your veil of compassion,

I was entangled, in a tapestry of mental shadows.

Now I rise again, like the crescent moon;

Your celestial smile salutes the Delicacy of my longing.

Ah! No more sorrows, my sublime Architect!

Let us now build only Palaces of Delight.

The fire of my quest knows no intimacy,

Other than Love, to extinguish its smouldering glow.

Come! My Beloved. Here in this radiance unparalleled,

We’ll blend as One;

Rise to Your abode, Oh Light-Bringer,

Tasting the sugar of perennial Bliss, and melting in its Sweetness.

      You're not supposed to understand my fancy words! but I see you do and I'm delighted. I pray that the radiance and brilliance of the Sun, and the delightful emanence of the stars and moon, do shine on and relieve all your shadows. Much love.
