Lovers At Sea (poem)

Updated on September 13, 2016

Lovers at sea

Nothing to be

Nowhere to flee

Trapped aimlessly

Eyes cannot see

How to get free

Their destiny

Mercilessly

Taking its fee

Losing the key

Doorway to glee

Times happily

Lost memory

Lost soulless plea

Lost to this sea

-

But waves kiss the shore

Of paradise close by

Bath in the sunlight

Of promised forever

Delighting

Inviting

Enticing

-

Lovers at sea

Nothing to be

Nowhere to flee

Trapped aimlessly

To be lost in love is as beautiful as the deep blue sea ... looks so calm and peaceful. Lovely music.

      Up and more and sharing

      God bless, Faith Reaper

      Hi Mhatter99

. Lovely poem. Voted up and beautiful. This reminds me of the day I met by better half. Was always thinking of her.

I'm just guessing here, but sounds like you need to learn how to swim! LOL

Beautiful poem. Those crystal waters look so inviting.

Wonderful song to accompany your prose.

      DJ.

There's nothing like making love 11 miles out to sea. Spent many a day doing just that!

      Brave Warrior,

I tried it once, got sea sick and puked.

We would like to hear more about your adventures......

Lovely poem. Not sure how comfortable it would be, though. LOL

This is a remarkable style that one can easily get lost within. Good work!
