Loving that becomes a Lie

Updated on September 3, 2013

To put your heart in someone else’s hand

Is something not to be taken lightly.

Why one can be so scared to do so

Being afraid that the heart will be crushed

Into a million pieces, is so easy to understand.

You don’t know what you’re getting into

When you place that much trust in someone

Not to break your heart.

The problem comes when you think you know

The person you gave your heart to

Turns out to be someone you despise

A person not fit to live

But who has to live with the guilt

Of all the damage he’s done through his life.

When that person finally faces his faults

If there were many, then he will lose his mind.

Unless he has not conscious at all.

And that must be you.
