My Last Silver Lining..............A Poem

Updated on June 11, 2015

God, Where are you.
A doomed soul in a queue,
In search of love of you,
heart aches in awe
death seems an everlasting relief
Sigh of lost hope and broken belief
Protest a lot but hard to succeed,
Puzzled mind, tired body, inner soul bleeds.
Which path to follow,
Everything is a hollow,
No door to knock,
Easy to get, to unlock,
hoping that time will come,
To say, having fun,
Clock don’t run,
One day, true love will appear
to remove all my fear.
I am no crone,
Set me free to reach a home
waiting for true love is crazy
A journey looks endless and hazy,
losing my last hope, oh God
My prayer proves worthless and odd.
Life is a living hell,
No chances for heaven’s dwell
Time is taking my toughest test,
Destiny is at stake, taking rest,
worry and grief, an uninvited guest,
poison is running in my chest,
No silver line, no clue for zest,
How can I Hope for the best.
I never forget to name God in pleasure,
his consent is my only treasure,
my existence crashed
Destroyed and trashed
No chances to survive
No hope to revive
God, help me to survive,

Without the darkness we cannot appreciate the light. The pain in your poem is emotive, almost palpable, but remember, the best things in life comes when we least expect it.

Wow, this is dripping with pain and sadness. Glad you see God in the loneliness and pain. Voted up and hit many buttons.

A poem of such desperation, yet there os a;ways a silver lining when you call on god. There is a better life ahead if we start believing and following our sensible side. whonu
