Magnify My Life

Updated on October 13, 2016

Feel The Heat

Just under our toes

Keep moving you won't feel it as much

Faster , faster

Don't stop

You have to keep going

Why is it that the things in life we want are out of reach ?

Let's do a little past review

We go to work and do a good job

Our bosses don't always see it

Raises in our pay are small and few

At home we plan on fixing the house beautifully

We start one project and before we are done there is something else

There always seems to be a minor set back

That throw us off track

Let's talk our mind

Very strong and powerful

We are always applying ourself

We know good effort brings about a positive results

Our relationships are our greatest influences

Where we turn to look for support and love

The passion we create is spine chilling

When we put are healthy body to the test

The outcome in the end

Should be a happy one

If this were a game

I could be anywhere from a one to a ten

One being having trouble after trouble

Ten is life going smoothly

I would say I'm a seven

If I could be on many different levels from one to thirty

Thirty being the hardest

I would say I'm at nineteen

Once again I am making great progress

Each day has many lessons to be learned

It is always easier to drop down a level that climbing up higher

Could it be we expect to much ?

So enjoy every step of the way

No matter where you are

You have worked hard and maybe got a rocky start

When you feel your best see what and how you are doing things

Maybe there is something we missed

That we can do better

Make practice fun

Even if we fall back

Pretend we are on a slide

The trip up took a little while

The ride down went fast

The fun we had didn't last

It doesn't matter how long it takes

We are climbing up once again

To live the thrill

Gypsy Rose Lee I connect with your feelings and so appreciate my parents for doing all they could providing me with a home not a house and love . I was blessed with not having to deal with all the problems they experienced during their life. My father had to serve in World War Two and both parents struggled with little money and learned to make do. Shanmarie a There are so many people that are gifted and share the beauty in life. If we embrace the good and let the bad trickle off like a heavy rain on a nasty day. Thank you both for reading and sharing.Happy Sunday.

Nellieanna Every day swings open wide like a door where anyone we love can come right in. On windy days we leave the door open to let the fresh air circulate. On hot summer days we close the door and put the air conditioners on. Then again on cold winter days we keep it shut tight to keep the warm heat in. At night or times when we are away we put the lock on to keep the unwanted, undesirables out. I find it a lot like life. We can and do meet so many people. There are many good people to appreciate their company and learn and love life with. Then there are some people we like but we can only take so much of. There are also people that we never want in our life because they are just trouble. We mix with all different types and that can be a good thing. I have and always will try to create and dream the best things life can and does offer. Those people who have the same interests will slowly pop up like beautiful wonderful daisies in a field. I get to pick and chose who really make my day. The others live their own life making the grass beautiful for children to play. So they may also see their own dreams unfold before their eyes. I try to sum up my life and my feelings during many stages. Always changing. Always growing. Thank you for sharing my energy and goodness. I know life is very precious and limited. We all should spend our time carefully since once it's gone we can't retrieve it like beautiful sky it is here for the enjoyment but if we decide to stay inside it will pass and there might be another one but it will never be the same. Thank you for reading and caring. (shells)

There's always some mountain we want to make move. You reminded me of a Miley Cyrus song I actually like. One of few, this one is called "The Climb" and it says "it ain't about how fast we get there, it ain't about what's waiting on the other side, it's the climb."

Made me think of my parents who as immigrants started a new life from scratch yet I had everything I could possibly want and plenty of love.

Michael, I've been constantly glad and uplifted reading your positivity, and also aware that it is a large part and statement of who you are. It's a beacon to others to see someone focus on the positive, even at times when any living person needs to search for the positives to magnify, in both thoughts and words, and to take power from the negatives by focusing on positives. I think that is your personal choice and power. Being positive may not change life's vicissitudes, which have other people involved in them (struggling with their own challenges) and other forces at play which may be resulting from many other effects beyond one's own field of influence. But what one's own attitude changes is how we respond to these other effects beyond our personal control, by denying their power over us and asserting our power over them. That is much, much MUCH more important to oneself.

Of course one struggles with negative forces and they often come at one forcibly and frequently undeserved. How they affect us is either by disCOURAGEIng or enCOURAGEing to us. Courage is an individual power and option calling for all our individual inner resources.

Take courage in the fact that your own pulse and heartbeat are ALWAYS available to you, even if or when others' are not. Sharing downer factors which feel like they're against you sometimes is understandable. But then you must bounce back up to keep from staying down. Up, up, up!

I recall someone loaning me a mental image of a 'sky hook' - an invisible hook to pull my focus back up when it was wavering. Hugs.

Nellieanna I have found a way to lift my head above the constant rising tide. There will be times I will struggle but the best times are the ones we the waves crash around me and I am challenged to wonder what is it that keeps me alive. I feel the pulse and heartbeat of another. This is where life flourishes forever. Vocal coach I admire all those people who help others because they want to not because they have to. Thanks to all the good people in the world who never stop trying. Than you both for your wonderful comments. Happy Friday.

Attitude plays an important role. My parents both had positive attitudes. I'm thankful for this. Thanks.
