Just when we thought we were pulling at strings
Things have a way of doing a full swing
Each time putting our head down and extending our open hand
The results show up in the strangest of all places
Unable to control or to follow
We are so much more than we can swallow
A simple breeze can put us at ease
A quiet room can be so inviting
Even the littlest meal becomes a big deal
Not having a clue
Gives us something to do
No time to burn those old britches
Too busy finding our littlest love
Hidden for years
Covered by good tears
Flip flop
We love to talk
In a world so complicated and intricate
We can master the art of appreciating freedom
From work to sleep
Many days whisk on by
New aches and pains
Mere pauses in our flow
Not stopping us in our tracks
Decreasing what we know
Returning with more confidence and desire
Finding out we are always expanding and growing
Even though we can't always see
The changes that happen are from deep inside
Our feelings beg to be understood
This is not a race to the finish
A world of discovery to be embraced
So if it is here where my mind may wonder
Only later to evolve

We are someone so important

A view from above
Heads moving in every direction
With real bodies and great minds attached
To take us on every journey
Exploring all there is
