Get Paid to Write With Infobarrel

Infobarrel is a great site where you can make money writing articles that are published on Infobarrel. With Infobarrel you earn money through their Ad Program and Amazon Associates. Their Ad Program was added in March, 2013 and prior to that, you could earn money through Google Adsense and Chitika.

Your earn money through Infobarrel for 75-90% of the impressions on your articles. The standard is 75% of impressions and you can earn up to 90% of impressions through your activity on Infobarrel. You can also make money with Infobarrel by referring other writers. Your ads will be inserted into 2% of your referrals' articles.

I have been a member of Infobarrel since May, 2011 but didn't publish my first Infobarrel article until July, 2011. I first started off by mainly converting my old eHow articles to Infobarrel articles after the eHow Writers Compensation Program ended. I have not been as consistent writing my Infobarrel articles and will go through spurts of writing a lot of articles and then spurts of not writing for a month or more.

This page will only address my former Adsense and Chitika earnings and my current Ad Program earnings as it is a bit of a pain to track Amazon Associates earnings.

2011 Earnings: $20.38

As you will see, my earnings in 2011 were very low, but pretty consistent in that once I started earnings, I first earned about $3.00 per month and then $6.00. It was a far drop from the $80 per month I was earning with eHow, but I also hadn't transferred all of my articles from eHow to Infobarrel.

2012 Earnings: $82.21

My monthly earnings for 2012 were generally higher than they were in 2011, but still managed to average less than $10 per month.

2013 Earnings: $95.34

Starting in March, 2013, Infobarrel introduced its own Ad Program and got rid of Adsense and Chitika (although you could elect to keep Adsense for certain earnings). I elected to go with the Ad Program in its entirety instead of Adsense. As you will see, almost immediately I was making far more with the Ad Program, although the earnings dropped after a few months. Due to the change and getting rid of Adsense and Chitika, I combined the first two in the table below and created a separate row for the Ad Program. My goal for 2013 is to average $50 per month (the minimum needed to cash out) by the end of the year. As you can see that means I have a lot of writing to do!
