Freedom March

1863 Emancipation Proclamation was signed with the Illusions that Black People would be truly accepted as Citizens of The United States…

Not everybody was happy, not everybody agreed that Blacks should be set free…

Tennessee…Exempt

Louisiana…Exempt

Delaware…Exempt…

Southern States and Racist States…Exempt…

There was uproar then and there is an uproar in the present…

Why else do the people March? Why else do they find an urgency to make signs of discontent, gather in large numbers, voice their anger in their tee shirts, in Hats, in their walk and protest songs?

Old Laws that Enforce the beliefs that Black People and Others have to be regulated and subjugated are still in the constitution and have not been addressed.

In these times Fighting for The Rights to Vote, Fighting for The Rights of Happiness, Fighting to Live with your Culture and History intact, is a continue struggle for many of the tribes of humanity.

In these times where we boast about being civilized, boast about being the Home of the Brave, the Free, and equal opportunities for everyone who comes to our shores…

There is a Movement going on, a Movement that has been gaining momentum as the people are tired; Tired of the same old rhetoric, tired of being lied to, tired of feeling like second class and no class in the eyes of the privileged.

Tired of racism, stray bullets, the George Zimmerman’s of the world, police brutality and Laws that should have long ago been abolished…

They will March with angry concerned eyes…

They will March with tired and hurting feet.

They will March, Black faces, White faces, Red and Brown faces in unified strength.

They will March, the Curious and the Furious …

They will March the Survivors and the Government agents…

Side by side, step by step, because the concerns of each are real…

They will March for Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream of equality for ALL the Races.

They will March for justice so that we have no more stories like Trayvon,

No more stories about Stray bullets and too many bullets in the hands of those who don’t give a damn about who they shoot.

They will come by Bus, Trains, Cars, to voice their unified concerns about fair play, about Voting Rights and the denying of basic Human Rights…

They will come with a purpose, come with family and friends praying that maybe this time, we will make an impact that Changes a Law, Changes some Attitudes that keep holding on to delusions of entitlement.

Many will scream with their eyes, with their voice and inside their soul…For change is needed and racism has to be defeated…

Freedom March: let us hope that it reminds them of another March which they only talk about in whispers behind closed doors…

The March that made the Keepers of the Slavery Seeds, Forget how to Count when they saw a Wave of Over A Million Black Men and other Men of Color...

Freedom March; Are You Ready To Do Your Part ?

Or are you still trying to get the ice off your heart?

God has no Favorites...
