Materialism! Hit The Road!

Updated on April 27, 2013

Materialism
Worldly things.
Count down your final
Great big towers
Flashy cars and diamond rings
are no longer enticing
People to One True Living God returning
Pick up your own stuff
and hit the road to
the point of no returning back!

True, true, true... says the most expensive mason who ever walked into a Lodge. A paradox.

That's telling 'em! Materialism is the bane of our existence here in the U.

      S. Sounds the same in 'your neck of the woods.'

Because money makes the world go around..

''when you have money, only you will forget who you are'' but

''when you have no money, the whole world will forget who you are''

Those words are said by Mr,Bill Gates himself,...

Materialistic people are part of this society too :) lol

No money, No Respect as it seems but nowadays in my place,I see many people returning to Mosques and are concerned much more about spiritual life. Thanks so much for you visits.Much appreciated.

I always Hear people say if the ever make it big they'll buy this or that. If i ever do I've always dreamed of starting a home for single mothers/fathers who've hit on hard times and also to abused children. Maybe that's because I've been both. I've been through a lot but have always stayed who I wanted to be. Money will never change that. Great poem as always

The human blood itself is laced with creed, this explain why man is ever longing to have more than he actually needs. We are all take more than we need. The capitalist society that we find ourselves is as a result of greed, the same greed is responsible for crime, apart from some homicide and psychological related crimes, the desire to have all and whatever by man is the cause of the fall of man.Man cannot determine the point when to stop taking,we take as long as we can still take. The only time we stop taking is when someone or something stops us from taking more.

Having lost most of my material possessions, I've learned there a more important things in life than accumulating stuff.

The essence of life is not about the material things we accumulate but the peace within how to find it,grow it up and spread it out to others.
