Meaning Of His Day (poem)

Updated on April 20, 2014

So funny now the meaning of the day

The drink is warm the clouds are drifting by

No need no want or plea of helpless cry

Just winks a memory might send his way

This harbinger of hope in world awry

This light at sea of darkness and dismay

Past endlessness his dreaming would display

With him to lead no deed they won’t try

A mindless forest filled with their distress

Would challenge him no matter of the cost

As here he lost the person he once knew

And when the path was cleared of all the mess

There in a clearing was a body tossed

To wonder of the day he just passed through
