Melancholic Domain

Updated on November 29, 2015

UNDER THE MOON

"Let her go", i said to myself

As the palpable truth struck me

I was dragged into a void

Staring down at me

Was my countless empty thoughts

"Can i trust you" she asked

I looked up into the endless night

As the somber lunar light

Hauled me further

Into it's sorrow filled might

"Can i trust you" i asked

She looked back

With her hollow teared eyes

I stared at her with a cold pain in my heart

As she waved her last goodbye

I ran into the woods

Before my eyes the night dissolved her

As i lay on the ground

In this melancholic night

And i realised it was but just

Her silhouette Under The Moon
