Reflected years of old and new
So much tomorrow, now joyful few.
Entwined of bonds of every season
Burning passion have ruled our reason.
Reminisce, a flame now freezing cold
Desires what once completely bold.
Found a scheme, a subtle betrayal
Not what it seems but of hurtful denial.
Trust has been in whole now shattered
Before they’re tickling words that flattered.
Drunk of past as lost somewhere
Their arrows surround, pinpointed despair.
Songs of cherished times replay
Abandoning gates without delay.
Resume a life of utter contentment
That lasts more than deluded fulfillment.
