Merely Pigments Of His Imagination.

Updated on March 1, 2010

Merely Pigments Of His Imagination.

God is an albino,
hair bleached

to alabaster
by the many suns

he's created.

In flowing

pale robes,
He spreads

colors through

endless universes,
to alleviate the

blandness of

his lily white world.

We are simply

a brilliant idea

he had,
many centuries

ago in a stroke

of genius,
splashed across

his black canvas

stretching forever

amidst the many

incandescent stars.

He is the

itinerant painter,
framing worlds

with the oils of life,
breathtaking decorations

for his platinum palace,
with all of its

vast empty space

needing filled.

Friday mourning

In the textures of patchwork quilted
woven as we were together with loving care,
lie the vague impressions of you
haunting, convoluted shadows,
that leave me depressed just west
of where you last lay.

Sweet flesh vacated though
all scents of you still linger,
I can picture the soft awe in your eyes
and hear your sibilant sighs of delight,
as we climbed pinnacles of passion.

The call came just after breakfast,
fifteen minutes after your departure.
Some cell phone yakking, lame excuse
for licensed to kill driving,
struck your car broadside.

You were gone in an instant,
folded into metal, in the meddle
of a stranger rushing to your demise.

Two beautiful poems, incredibly so imaginative - nice to read between the lines, I say very well done...
