Michelle the Roving Reporter and Sunnie Day Goes Camping
Sunnie goes Camping
"Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart."
When Sunnie Day aka (Kim Kruse Thompson) agreed to an interview with Michelle the roving reporter, Michelle agreed to meet her camping on the beach.
Oh wow!! Since Michelle loves the beach this sounded like a lot of fun!
Michelle the Roving Reporter
‘Wow, the beach and camping outside and grilling on open fire sounds wonderful. "
"Oh wait maybe she should find a restaurant.’ LOL.
Parking her car and grabbing her bag she looked up and here comes Sunnie Day in her yellow bikini. Wow the woman looked great.
Wow Sunnie You Look Great..
Wow Sunnie you are looking good!
“Michelle that’s not me I am over here!” Someone was yelling at her.
She realized it was the real Sunnie Day.
Sunnie's Itsy little bikini
Ok, this is all Sunnie would let Michelle; show of her bathing suit.
She really did look good!!
“Michelle, let’s go play volleyball.”
As she ran off. Michelle, tried her best to keep up, and volleyball they did play.
Sunnie, jumped and dove so much to get the ball that Michelle just knew she would have to take Sunnie to the hospital, after all she is a grandmother, and she was out doing Michelle, the roving reporter that worked for the bloody herald.
At last they were done playing and limping back to the campsite when they fell over, yes you guessed right, Nell Rose.
Nell Rose looking good
Nell Rose was sunbathing, while a good looking man was feeding her strawberries.
Nell was sitting on her lounge chair with her beautiful man feeding her strawberries. All the way from London, to Corpus Christie, Texas, she was having the time of her life. Michelle and Kim looked at each other with jealously.
"Where can we find a man like that?"
After recovering from seeing Nell with her handsome man they were still limping trying to get to the campsite when they saw Lord De Cross pinned down by the golden girls, yelling at him that he gave their daughters bad advice. Wow, he was yelling in pain.
I think they were hurting him. “Sorry Lord we can’t help you!”
Yikes! Those women looked mean!
We got back to the campsite, and the Boomers were there having their holiday. They were so funny, they were fussing about everything.
The Boomers were trying to get everyone to play board games; holdings games in their arms. Looking very hopeful, when Frank, Michelle’s Dad, showed up, “Just checking up on Michelle, I want to make sure she is behaving herself.”
Frank On His Motorcycle
“Dad I can’t believe you came out here to check up on me on your motorcyle.
“Off to another murder the other side of the beach, I wanted to say Hi!
Frank took off on his motorcycle.. waving his hand in the breeze..
When out came Sunnie’s funny Valentine and he was cute.
Oh the smooches, were flying everywhere. There was lipstick all over her Valentine..
"Sunnie, Oh Sunnie remember me?" lol
Michelle had to drag Sunnie off of her Valentine.. Good Grief..
“Okay Kim we have to do the interview. Let’s "Settle down my friend.”
Getting plates of food for both of them, they settled down for the evening.
“”No problem Michelle, let’s get busy.”
In between bites Michelle started the questions.
“Kim tell me about yourself where were you born and explain the town etc. and where do you live now?”
“I was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and then traveled about everywhere as my dad was in the Air Force. I then joined the Army, married a soldier and once more traveled about. We finally settled in Central Texas so we call this home now.”
“Plus, we adopted two babies when my other two children were six and seven. Matt was three months and two years later we adopted Amy at 5 weeks. They are all very close. I was in the army...did you know that? Ha-ha. You will have to write a book so we better stop here. ha-ha-ha.
“Kim, tell me about your writing, why do you like it so much?”
“Since I was a little girl, I was always writing poetry, and dreaming. Some say I used to have my head in the clouds. I was forever saying, "Huh? I mean Sir?" to my dad as I was always half way listening. I love writing so much. For me it is a getaway place, where I can let my hair down, and say all the things that I may not be able to say aloud. I tend to be shy but on the computer, I feel as if I can write better than I can talk. I do not care to talk on the phone or carry on long conversations in person but let me write and I can go on forever...So I guess writing, is my hearts release.”
“Where do you get your inspiration from?”
“Oh my where do I start? I get my inspiration from the strangest to the most wonderful things. Show me an ant line, a slip up by a family member, my dog, anything that is within my reach; beware, as I will write about it, creating a slight twist to it. My parents are "Burt and Birdie," a series of an elderly couple that lived in a nursing home. My dad now calls my mom Birdie. I love to give inanimate objects a voice, which I have

been known to do for fun. When I was a kid, my brother and I would amuse ourselves by watching the car ahead of us and give the people voices, and make them appear as if they are saying the funniest of things. It did not take much to amuse us. Lol… Anyway...if it is living and breathing, I may write about it. Issues that touch my heart such as the elderly, children and animals will always find a way to my pen. I used to say, "I am so face booking that" but now I say, "I am so writing about that!"
“Who inspires you, who are your favorite authors?
“There are so many writers who inspire me that they are too numerous to name. I admire of the sadfastness of most writers how they seem to be so in tune with the issues of the heart, touching others through their words. I admire the poets, the story tellers, and the very articulate writers, who I envy so much. Then there is the writer who is always there for everyone. Everyone knows who they are without naming names.”
“Have you written any books? If you have, tell us all about it.”
I have written two books "Sunnie and her Peeps" and "When Delilah Smiles"
"Sunnie and her Peeps" was inspired by my lovely chickens. It is a children's book. Delilah was born out of my heart, and I am most proud of that book. I pray it touches many, giving much hope. Even when life gives us some hard roads to travel, we can succeed, maybe not the way that is normal to most, but that if we try, we can accomplish anything, despite the obstacles. Who likes to live the norm anyway? That can get rather boring I think. I have written several digital books found on Amazon and Smash words as well.”
“Who are your favorite hubbers?”
“I have so many and always fear I may leave one out. So I will plead the 5th. I love them all and they know who they are. I am afraid I have been off hubs for a while due to my mom’s illness, but I always think about everyone and wish them the very best.”
“Kim, I am so glad your mom is doing so much better. It is good to have you back at the hub. Now Kim, tell me about your writing style.”
“I honestly do not know what my style is. I have grown into what they call a creative writer I guess, a story teller, and mostly fiction. I like to take a subject... example...when those little girls wore those cupcakes on their persons as they accompanied Katty Perry to an awards ceremony. It was all over the news. I did not care for that at all. They were little girls dressing up like a sexy adult woman. So I made up a story, voicing my thoughts, without naming names. Whoops guess I just named names. Ha ha”
“Ha Ha I love how you write... Now give some advice to new writers on the hub!”
“Always be thoughtful of others and try to read and support others. It is not a race although at times, although at times it may feel like it"...!”
“Kim, tell me about something personal about you.”
“You mean like a secret thought? Something I have done that maybe no one knows? Okay here goes...I have seen the inside of the jail in Wilcox, Arizona...that's all I am saying. The story is on hubs. I can’t believe I just said that...So you can leave out the wise part if you want.”
“Kim, you are so funny and you are wise. Tell me about your favorite bands, Music.”
“I love love love the oldies from the 70's. The Eagles, Chicago, Bread, Carpenters, BTO, Boston, Dan Folgerburg, the list can go on. I love music so much. I do love Contemporary Christian music and some newer country. I secretly wanted to be Karen Carpenter.”
Last recording of Karen Carpenter in 1981
“I can’t tell you why” by the Eagles
“Kim, what is your favorite thing in the world to do?
“I have a few things that are pretty great when it comes to favorite things, I say feel that way. Quality is always better than quantity.”
“Writing has to be right up there but I do love to go camping (but not when it is hot.) I love to wake up to see the view of a lake, or a mountain in the distance. Sitting by a camp fire drinking coffee is so wonderful. I like to fish, and other things that go with camping. I love the beach! Not so much lying on the beach but walking on the beach and collecting shells. If I had to close my eyes and pick one...it would be camping and going to the beach. So I guess my favorite thing to do would be to go camp on the beach while salt water fishing, then my life would be complete.”
‘Kim, I have had a great time. I think I will limp back to my car…lol.. See you at the hub.”
