Miles from Nowhere .........Verse

Updated on January 29, 2014

I don't think that I have ever been
anywhere near "home"
Maybe that's just the nature of some men
lost ....alone

It's no different now that I am
older and more mature
No I think not
there is no allure

Truth is
some of us are meant
for solitude and worse
Like a poet with no pen
a gypsy in a virtual curse

No ....the hell with my investment
she'll too will lose her affections
That's just okay too
love comes with with no directions

If you see me out there among the
tragic ruins
Say what you will
just another of woman's doings

That's right, Ed, love comes with no instructions and sometimes with no clue as to what is really happening.
