Missing The Image Of Us
I miss writing you when I can't sleep,Calling you to tell you good news,Being the shoulders upon which you can weep,Composing neons out of our blues,Tumbling away our cares,Talking until 7 in the morning,Until the boogie man ran away with our fears,Not caring if neither of us can sing,Or had any of the lyrics correct,Laughing over our every imperfection,Never having to inspect,What lead us to come undone,Unraveling together hand in hand,Always knowing someone had my back,Even in silence you'd understand,The way my emotions needed hacked.
