Calling All " Boo's and Ghouls "....

I AIN'T GOT NO BODY !!!!
I AIN'T GOT NO BODY !!!! | Source

Sometimes we lose..sometimes we gain..WHY ?

.

I’ve been on Hub Pages for many a year...

Writing articles, asking questions on things very dear...

Traffic's been slow, can't figure out why...

But as the time passes, I thought I would try..

Although not a poet, I said with a sigh...

I’ll give it a chance , what have I got to lose ?

Poetry can’t be all that hard I said....it’s only a muse...

You must first decide what you want to write.....

And then you decide deep, funny or light...

If you choose love, don’t make it too deep..

Or your readers will slowly fall asleep...

Choosing lyrical might come across satirical..

If you choose light, keep it airy...and

For heavens sake don’t make it too scary...

But I did write a series about little red-headed “ Fred “

And asked everyone to look under their bed....

Comments were made ...like can’t wait till the end...

And everyone seemed to like this new friend....

Now part 5 has been published..

and there’s many you see, who haven’t ..

clicked on and read the updates of he..

I choose to write about Life as it’s thrown at me

And all of its inconsistency.....

And sometimes I rant... but I always share..

And I’ve always tried to be aware..

That people can misconstrue...what you say..

Regardless the genre of your writing way...

So if I have offended anyone.. with my twisted writes..

I apologize and hope that you will again visit my sites...

Wow, wish I had thought to write something like this, wait, mine would have said something like: wish you would come back-the end. Hmm, I think yours was much much better. Love it, keep it up, as always.

bac2basics..we have had lots of rain and wind here today..however around us had and still has power outages..weather claims the wind and rain will be pretty much gone tomorrow..then it's going down to the 70's..so winter is a coming quick this year..I'll be needing my down vest..trust me I used to ski wearing just a thermal shirt with my skipants..now it hits 80 with the pool @ 68 and I am in my wetsuit..

thank you for your concern..keep safe..later..

bac2basics...sorry to hear of the fires..I know how devastating that can be, as we had a fire 2 years ago and it wiped out acreage all around us ( and ours ) beautiful 60-80 ft pines now just stand like sticks..but it is coming back ever so slowly..Mother Nature allows things to happen for a reason, like purging files..glad to know you are doing well..thanks for the update..and don't be a stranger, we missed you..we are now awaiting " sandy " the hurricane...within 24 hours...later my friend

Hi KJ. The baby squirrels have grown up and possibly have been moved on by their mother. The birds which go away for the summer are now coming back, it´s a delight to see them, I just hope there´s enough for them to eat this winter due to all the damage the fire did. My mountains are greening up very nicely, and we have had some rain to help, but the mountains in the distance and to the other side of my house are looking very bare and bald. The rains washed all the ash away and we are left with bare grey rock showing through and not much else. It will come back though, just seems to be taking it´s time in places.

btrbell..I wrote so others might relate to how it feels when we speculate..I wanted all who read about Fred to realize that he's not dead..but merely a legend that we should dread..cause no one wants to end up like FRED...thanks for the inspiring words..I appreciated it and it added spark to my day..nice to see " Sandy " won't affect thee..

I am fortunate for having discovered you here on Hub Pages. I so enjoy your humor as well as your wonderful poetry. I am with you as I am sometimes so surprised of those Hubbers who I take the time to read and comment on but they never do with mine. Even if they didn't like the write, they could state that. I always enjoy reading your work as well as reading your supportive comments on my Hubs.

I have taken to "trimming the fat" on those Hubbers who I call "comment hogs." They love to get em' but never want to give em' so I trimmed the fat a and hit the "unfollow" button.

Would you believe one had the audacity to send me an e-mail asking if I would read the hubs on the their profile page? This particular person's only activity with regards to anything I wrote was to hit the "follow" button but has yet to read one word. I ignored it.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to rant and I enjoyed your Fred series. I encourage you to write more of this genre as well as a short story series. Something to think about friend.

Keep writing and I'll keep reading (and hiding the bodies of those who don't).
